Some people respond very differently to histamines, sulphates, glutamates and other food chemicals. It may be the amount of foods you are eating or a combination of histamine inducing reactions from the environment, along with a body burden that is causing the reaction. It can be difficult to pinpoint which one.
As we know gut healing is a top priority in any reactivity. Allergies are a complex web of both physical, emotional and environmental causes , along with how your cells reacts to clearing these “intruders”.
Gut healing is a start and can clear most of the inflammation and mast cell activation that goes along with histamine intolerances. A study I was reading today, mentioned a couple of natural products to which can bind the histamine and remove it from the body, so reactivity is not induced. Great news for those who suffer with irritating skin flare ups or rashes, hives and other skin conditions.
Children can also react through behaviour, like anger, irritation, bullying outbursts. Food plays a huge role in causing discomfort AND most importantly HEALING the discomfort. Check in with your own body, do a food diary and bring along to your next appointment if you want me to assess it for you. And on a side note for those in Perth this weekend: Enjoy this warmer weather and get your belly in the sun!
