S L E E P — or lack of it
Anyone experiencing that window of “non-sleep” between the hours of : 11pm- 1am -This is a sign of your gallbladder- time for cellular repair, release bile and getting quality sleep. Eat more alkaline forming foods.
1am – 3am- According to traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) it can be a sign your liver needs some support, some symptoms can be fogginess, sluggish, irritability or anger. Keep a check on your alcohol intake, caffeine and overburdening your body with either environmental or daily toxins.
3am – 5am- based on TCM it signifies your lungs are most at work during these hours, maybe your are overwhelmed with grief, sadness or an inability to control what’s going on in your life. Try some Mindfulness or deep breathing daily.
5am – 7am- is your large intestines time to detoxify and prepare for healthy bowel movements. Keep up your hydration and eat plenty of fibrous vegetables.
